COHERENCE
Coherence measures the phase relationship between two raw brainwave signals. When the
peaks and valleys of two brainwaves coincide they are in phase. Coherence measures this
relationship by subtracting each raw data point from the corresponding data point of the
second channel. The difference is then compared over a user selectable number of data
points. If the difference is uniform the signals are more in phase than if the difference varies
greatly.
