HEART RATE

The Heart Rate Input measures the heart rate in beats per minute. There are three choices

from the Heart Menu: Strip chart, General Graph and Heart Rate.

1. Strip Chart displays the raw signal.

2. General Graph allows you to output the heart rate as a general graph, a post session

ASCII output or a live DDE output.

3. Heart Rate is a digital display of the heart rate.

It is important to have a good artifact free signal when using Heart Rate or it will not be

accurate.. Measuring the heart rate across the chest is usually best. It is interesting to note

both the variability between individuals as well as the moment to moment variation of the

same individual.
